Υποψηφιότητες για Όσκαρ 2024: Barbie, Oppenheimer και American Fiction μεταξύ των υποψηφίων

Οι ηθοποιοί Zazie Beetz και Jack Quaid παρουσίασαν τις υποψηφιότητες για τα φετινά βραβεία, με τον Γιώργο Λάνθιμο να ξεχωρίζει με την ταινία του «Poor Things» που σάρωσε με 11 υποψηφιότητες, καταλαμβάνοντας τη δεύτερη θέση μετά το «Oppnheimer» του Christopher Nolan που έχει 13 υποψηφιότητες.

Η ταινία του Λάνθιμου είναι υποψήφια σε κατηγορίες όπως Καλύτερη Ταινία, Σκηνοθεσία, και Παραγωγή, με τους ηθοποιούς Emma Stone και Mark Ruffalo να είναι υποψήφιοι στις κατηγορίες Α' Γυναικείου και Β' Ανδρικού Ρόλου αντίστοιχα.

Παράλληλα, ο Γιώργος Λάνθιμος κερδίζει τη δεύτερη Οσκαρική υποψηφιότητα στη Σκηνοθεσία και ο Γιώργος Μαυροψαρίδης σκοράρει τη δεύτερη υποψηφιότητα στο Μοντάζ. Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι η Margot Robbie δεν είναι υποψήφια σε κάποια κατηγορία.

Το Killers of the Flower Moon έλαβε 10 υποψηφιότητες και η μεγαλύτερη επιτυχία της περασμένης χρονιάς Barbie σημείωσε 8. Η ταινία American Fiction, με πρωταγωνιστή τον Jeffrey Wright, συγκέντρωσε 5 υποψηφιότητες.

Η 96η ετήσια απονομή των βραβείων Όσκαρ θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Κυριακή 10 Μαρτίου στο Dolby Theatre στο Ovation Hollywood και θα μεταδοθεί ζωντανά από το ABC. Παρουσιαστής της εκπομπής θα είναι ο Jimmy Kimmel και αυτή θα αποτελέσει την τέταρτη φορά του στη σκηνή των Όσκαρ.
